The Salty Pig is looking for a Junior Sous Chef / Lead Line Cook to join their team!

At The Salty Pig, our menu highlights housemade charcuterie, antipasti, and pizza. Behind the bar, we offer creative, playful cocktails, a value driven wine list, and a rotating mix of domestic and imported beers.

Since opening in 2011, we have prided ourselves on being a welcoming and fun place to work. Service here is fast-paced, so teamwork and a supportive attitude are essential. Our front and back of house teams collaborate closely and work cross-functionally to consistently exceed our guests expectations.

Were seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef / Lead Line Cook to bridge the gap between our hourly kitchen team and management. This hybrid leadership and cooking role is hands-onexecuting high-quality dishes, leading the line, training cooks, and upholding kitchen standards.

What Youll Do

  • Execute dishes with precision, urgency, and consistency
  • Lead the pace and flow of the line during peak hours
  • Ensure proper seasoning, temperature, and plating on every dish
  • Train and support cooks, reinforcing kitchen standards
  • Maintain clean, organized stations and high-quality prep
  • Support inventory, waste reduction, and kitchen organization
