Job Details Cornerstone Restaurant Group (CRG), based in Fulton Market, is seeking dedicated Barbacks to lead the opening of CRGs newest restaurant, Dimmi Dimmi, nestled in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. With Dimmi Dimmi Corner Italian, CRG is reimagining the iconic neighborhood Italian spot with bold red-sauce staples, classic cocktails, and a warm, buzzing vibe. Its where timeless tradition meets modern energy, brought to life with heartfelt hospitality and moments made to share. The culinary team is led by Executive Chef Matthew Eckfeld, who honed his expertise in Italian cuisine at New Yorks celebrated Carbone and other iconic Major Food Group restaurants. Our pastry program is guided by consultant Casey Doody, a French Pastry School alum and former Director of Pastry at the renowned Boka Group. This is more than an opening. Barback Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar counters, glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Refill ice stations within the bar.
- Keep bar stations stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes.
- Prepare garnishes and basic bar prep items, such as cutting fruit, restocking napkins, straws, and syrups, before and during service.
- Transport up to 25 lbs of glassware up and down a flight of stairs.
- Gather and transport used glassware to washing station, wash and polish it, and return clean items to the bar.
- Regularly remove trash and empty bottles from bar area.
- Monitor supply and inventory levels, alerting bartenders and managers when restocking is needed.
- Support opening and closing duties to ensure the bar is ready for service or properly shut down.
- Follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines consistently throughout the shift.

Barback Job Requirements
- Shifts will be 5pm - 11pm/12am, Tuesday - Sunday.
- Be physically able to go up and down stairs while carrying up to 25 lbs of supplies/glassware.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school education or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to deal with guests in a professional manner while maintaining a composed demeanor in high stress situations.
- Frequent long periods of standing and walking are expected during the workday.
- Ability to reach for objects and stoop or bend as needed to perform job duties.
- This position may involve visual and auditory tasks, including the ability to see and hear adequately to perform job functions.
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00)
