Broad Description of Duties:

The Regional Event Coordinator is responsible implementation of sales initiatives and marketing materials designed to increase multiple aspects of the business. This position is responsible for achieving/exceeding location revenue goals by training, guiding and overseeing field staff to help execute sales driven events. This position will develop promotional activity to increase both awareness and revenue. This position will manage the office of the Regional Account Manager to include Delphi management and customer relations with secured partners.

The ideal candidate possesses the ability to utilize different media platforms and effectively convey multiple marketing messages. This highly organized individual demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.

This position reports to the Regional Account Manager while coordinating with the AVP of Sales, Chief Marketing Officer, District Director (s) and identified marketing & sales team members.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

Theatre Rentals:
Database Development and Management of theatre rental database: develop relationships with inquiring guests and businesses, gather, and maintain contact data to generate future theatre rentals.
Personally meet the demands and expectations of the groups utilizing the facility through field personnel.
Group Sales:
Event Execution: Coordinate and lead execution of events by properly communicating with operations team and ensuring groups are ultimately satisfied.
F&B Sales:
Coordinate Grass Roots community efforts with materials supplied by Corporate Marketing.
Direct the planning and execution of F&B level promotions. All F&B Sales are designed to utilize the Banquet and Catering Menus.
Coordinate with Film Department, Film Companies and Community business partners on the promotion of key Film initiatives.
Integrate marketing efforts with operations team: Interface daily with the operations team to clearly communicate marketing goals and support the team in best exceeding guest expectations.
Participate in training related to marketing initiatives.
Serve as a seamless conduit of information between operations, marketing and the guest.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Job Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate well with corporate office staff, local businesses, and theatre associates.
Able to facilitate a team that makes marketing & sales initiatives a reality.
Able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel with ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
Experience with Salesforce.com or Delphi software preferred.

Education Required:

Bachelor Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent theatre work experience preferred.

Experience Required:

Three to four years experience working in theatres or sales preferred.
