Garvan Woodland Gardens, a 210-acre botanical garden situated on a peninsula surrounded by scenic Lake Hamilton located in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Holiday Housekeeping Attendant. This position is responsible for general cleaning and housekeeping tasks throughout the Gardens and complex. This position requires weekends and seasonal night schedule. Regular, reliable attendance is mandatory. Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting public spaces prior to opening, throughout the day as well as before and after events. Disposing of trash, deep cleaning public restrooms, cleaning windows, dusting, cobweb removal, stocking facilities with toiletries, safely handling and using cleaning chemicals and ensuring that all areas are properly cleaned daily. Working hours will change during the Holiday Lights Season to include night, evening, and weekend work. Pay $13-15 per hour based on experience and skill level. Housekeeping Attendant is a part-time, temporary position limited to the 1250-hour University of Arkansas policy. The campus is a non-smoking facility. This position requires a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
