Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and cleaning guest rooms and public areas
  • General cleaning of guest rooms
  • Make up guest beds
  • Take all linens and towels to be cleaned
  • Keep floors and carpets clean throughout the lodge and guest rooms
  • Maintain stock levels for towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc.
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so health standards are met
  • Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampoos
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty ashtrays, and transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas
  • Work evenings, holidays, and weekends on a rotating basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Good organizational and verbal skills
  • Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
  • Able to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor operation areas, and write and read member communications
  • Must be able to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
  • Work indoors and/or outdoors
  • Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, and harmful chemicals and/or solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed
  • Other related duties
