Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives? As a Patient & Family Concierge , you’ll be a vital part of creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for patients, families, and visitors throughout their hospital journey.

We are looking for an individual who can provide year-round availability in a permanent capacity (non-student enrollment is preferred). Must be able to work at least 36 hours every 6-weeks scheduling period.

In this dynamic role, you’ll provide compassionate, personalized service across a variety of areas—wherever you’re needed most. Whether it’s helping guests find their way, assisting with patient transport, supporting dietary or environmental services, or managing supplies and equipment, your flexibility and empathy will help ensure every interaction is a positive one.

Welcome & Wayfinding

  • Greet patients and families with warmth and positivity.
  • Help visitors and patients get where they need to go—walk them there when needed.
  • Share general hospital info like visiting hours, directions, and policies.
  • Handle patient info with care—share only what's appropriate.
  • Provide parking passes, validate parking, and assist with scooter checkouts.
  • Track patient belongings at admission.

Keep It Clean & Comfortable

  • Clean and tidy patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, and equipment.
  • Remove trash, empty linen hampers, and restock supplies.
  • Make beds and change linens in discharge and on-call rooms.
  • Report any maintenance issues you spot.

Support Meal Service

  • Assemble and serve meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
  • Deliver trays using proper patient ID procedures.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Handle food service equipment safely and clean up after meals.

Help Patients Get Around

  • Safely transport patients, equipment, and lab specimens throughout the hospital.
  • Disinfect transport equipment and log transport activity.
  • Report unusual activity or equipment issues to your supervisor.
