This temporary position is located in Butner - Granville County.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $17.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services - DSOHF - Central Regional. This position is located at 300 Veazey Rd, Butner, NC 27509.

The Food Service Assistant's responsibilities include preparing and cooking a diverse range of breakfast, lunch, and items including meat entrees, vegetables, and desserts for quick service sales to staff and patients. Additional duties involve maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas

  • Ability to learn food preparation and cleaning procedures.
  • Ability to perform moderately heavy physical labor for extended periods.

  • Ability to communicate in a respectful manner to patients, co-workers and customers.
