At ama, the bar is the heartbeat of the entire concept. Serving as the central element of both the restaurant and lounge, the bar defines the energy, flavor, and hospitality of the space. The Bartender is not simply a cocktail maker, but a master of their craft, host of the lounge, and curator of the guest experience. This role requires deep technical skill in mixology, creativity in cocktail design, and the ability to connect with guests in an atmosphere that is as chic and sexy as it is refined.
Lead the creation and delivery of signature cocktails and seasonal menus that showcase Italian and Japanese ingredients, spirits, and techniques.
Demonstrate mastery of Japanese whiskies, Italian amaros, sake, and shochu.
Execute cocktails with consistency, flair, and precision, whether serving at the bar, in the lounge, or tableside.
Engage with guests through storytelling, education, and entertainment, creating memorable moments that go beyond the drink itself.
Maintain a pristine and efficient bar setup, reflecting the energy and personality of ama.
Mentor and guide barbacks, helping them grow into future bartenders.
3+ years of cocktail-focused bartending experience.
Proven mastery of mixology techniques, flavor balance, and cocktail innovation.
Strong knowledge of spirits, with emphasis on Japanese and Italian categories.
Ability to command the bar as both a craftsman and a performer, blending technical excellence with charisma.

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00) plus tips
