Work Schedule:

Position Overview
As a Cafeteria Cook, you'll work under the supervision of the Cafeteria Manager to prepare, cook, bake, and serve nutritious meals to students. You'll also help keep our kitchens safe, sanitary, and running smoothly.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal background check.
Experience in food preparation (preferred).
Training in nutrition, safety, or sanitation (preferred).
Skills we're looking for:
Knowledge of safe food preparation and serving methods.
Ability to follow recipes and menus accurately.
Comfort operating and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and bake food in large quantities.
Assist with setting up serving lines and checking food temperatures.
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
Operate dishwashers and handle food storage and inventory.
Work collaboratively with cafeteria staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay starting at $17.00 per hour with no experience, up to $24.05 per hour with 20 years of creditable experience.
