Location: Lyman, NE

Pay Rate: $18.00/HOUR

Shift: 1st Shift- Monday - Thursday with OT on Fridays

Adecco is now hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic I in Lyman, NE on 1st shift. Position Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic I is responsible for performing a wide range of facility and equipment maintenance tasks. This includes everything from replacing light fixtures to assisting with machine setup, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with machinery maintenance, repairs, and rebuilding

Fabricate parts using machine shop tools and equipment

Conduct preventive maintenance following manuals, diagrams, and engineering specs

Respond to maintenance inquiries and provide assistance as needed

Perform general facility maintenance and repairs

Additional Responsibilities:

This job description covers the primary duties, but additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice. Regular and reliable attendance is essential.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred:

2 years of related maintenance experience

Physical Requirements:

Strength Level: Heavy Work

Occasionally lift/move 50-100 lbs

Frequently lift/move 25-50 lbs

Constantly lift/move 10-20 lbs

Frequently Required:

Reaching, handling, grasping, and fine finger movements

Visual focus for close-up tasks

Judging distances/spatial awareness

Occasionally Required:

Climbing ladders/stairs, maintaining balance

Stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling

Sensing texture/size by touch

Oralmunication and hearing

Adjusting vision for sharp focus and color identification
