Job Summary

SUMMARY:

Keeps the district's buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Cleans and Preserves designated spaces, including classrooms, restrooms, ect

Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes concrete, linoleum and wood floors

Vacuums rugs and carpets.

Cleans walls, windows, ceilings and exterior portions of buildings, as directed.

Preforms general and special cleaning tasks, as required.

Operates and checks lighting, heating and ventilation equipment

Sets up classrooms and multipurpose room for special events as needed.

Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up

needed equipment

Maintains building and grounds security.

Requirements / Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Lift test: Lift 50 pounds and push/pull 100 pounds

Comments and Other Information

All offers of employment are subject to and contingent upon the completion of a criminal background check by the California Department of Justice, written and physical tests. Convictions of certain crimes, including but not limited to sex and narcotics offenses and serious and violent felonies, as specified in the California Education and Penal Codes, will bar employment with the District and this contract shall become null and void. Candidates selected for employment will be required to provide verification of work authorization in the form as indicated on the I-9 document. All candidates sent for screening, physicals and lift 50 pounds and push/pull 100 pounds test borne the cost of mileage.
