Take messages and route them accordingly. Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments based on providers protocols. Call patients to confirm appointments. -Monitor and work EMR in basket, voicemails, and emails. Call patients to relay messages from doctors, i.e. Patient needs to get labs done and be seen before doctor will prescribe medication refills. -Other duties as assigned. -Must be familiar with insurances, medications, controlled medications, various types of office visits, must know appointment frequency requirements by type of visit.
