Job Requirements Starting Pay Range: $10.35 hourly plus tips Swing Shift Available The Steakhouse is a distinguished fine dining establishment at Turning Stone Resort Casino, is recognized for its excellence. The restaurant exudes an enduring elegance coupled with a cozy ambiance. Our restaurant's Food Servers are committed to providing guests with an unforgettable dining experience, distinguished by their meticulous attention to detail and expertise in their roles. What does a Food Server do? Food Servers up sells food and beverages within the restaurant, desserts, appetizers, etc. Always reports to Supervisor before shift to obtain assigned station. Ensures that stations are clean, orderly and stocked with the specified condiments and promotional material. Ensures that tables are set properly according to assigned station. Completes side duties, including stocking condiments, folding napkins, polishing glasses, etc. Takes guest orders in a timely manner. Ensures that beverage orders are taken within two minutes after guest is seated. Maintains complete knowledge of all menu and beverage items, their prices, method of preparation, and availability. Work Experience To be successful as a Food Server, you'll need: Previous tray or food server experience is mandatory. Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests. Previous money handling experience; required. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.
