Are you passionate about creating delicious dishes in a beautiful setting? Peekamoose Restaurant is seeking a talented Line Cook to join our culinary team in Big Indian, NY. As an award-winning restaurant nestled in the Catskills, Peekamoose is known for its contemporary American cuisine and commitment to farm-to-table dining. Join us in a place of unparalleled natural beauty where you can showcase your skills and be part of a welcoming, nurturing environment.  

We serve dinner only (sleep late!) from Thursday to Monday.  

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Scratch cooking using fresh, local ingredients
  • Kitchen management to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Plate presentation for a visually appealing dining experience

Required Skills:

  • Experience in fine dining
  • Ability in sautéing and grilling techniques
  • Strong knife skills
  • Good sanitation habits in place

Nice to Have Skills

  • Commitment to food quality and consistency
  • Sense of humor

Minimum Salary: $46,000.00

Maximum Salary: $70,000.00

You come into my home, I'm going to take care of you, Marybeth says. In the rustic-chic farmhouse designed by Shawn Patrick Anderson of ACME Studios, a longtime friend of the Mills, the atmosphere is welcoming, laid back, comfortable, and quirky. There are taxidermied animals, lights and shelves made from fallen branches, wall art created from found objects, an outdoor fire pit for marshmallows, an indoor treehouse for kids.
