Line Cook

We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to Elysian Brewing specifications and to set up stations for the menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting with all their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities

Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks

Plating prepared foods based on senior chefs guidance

Working with servers to ensure that orders arepleted according to request and on time

Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Skills

Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Familiar with industry's best practices

Pay: $21-25 per hour + tips

Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) - 72 hours for PSST per year for incumbent hourly employees. New Hires receive initial load of 24 hour for first 90 days and after 90 days, another 48 hours are added to employee's remaining quota.

Referral Bonus - Refer a great employee to us and receive $250 (after 3 months of work)
