Katami is concept from 4 time James Beard nominated Chef Manabu Horiuchi of Kata Robata. Katami, which translates to gift or keepsake in Japanese, is a sushi-forward restaurant representing what Chef Hori believes is the future of Japanese cuisine in America. We were voted best new restaurant in Texas by Texas Monthly in 2023, best new restaurant to open in Houston by the Houston Chronicle in 2023, 4th best new restaurant to open in America in 2023 by Robb and ranked #2 in Houston's top 100 restaurants in 2024 by the Houston Chronicle. We are looking to hire a talented bartender to join our tight knit team. Must have experience in a high end restaurant bar or very busy cocktail bar. Must be able to multi-task and execute at a high level. We are looking for highly motivated and talented people who genuinely love what they do and want to be a part of something very special. Must be a team player and willing and eager to learn about Japanese food and beverages.
