Position Summary

Ranger Chocolate Co. makes bean-to-bar chocolate and other fine goods in Portland, Oregon and ships nationwide. This is a customer experience position that blends barista work, retail, customer engagement, and order fulfillment. You'll serve as a frontline ambassador of our brand and values, ensuring every customer interaction reflects ourmitment to quality,munity, and care.

Key Responsibilities

Barista

Prepare chocolate and espresso beverages with consistency and care.

Maintain a clean, efficient, and food-safe workspace.

Customer Support & Retail Engagement

Greet and interact with guests and customers with kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via email, phone, and in-person.

Engage with and educate customers about the tasting notes, ingredients, and pairings of our chocolate and other confectionery items.

Maintain cleanliness,anization, and standards across the retail and service space.

Order Fulfillment & Coordination

Assist with packaging and shipping customer orders.

Coordinate with fulfillment, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

Maintain accurate customer records and issue resolution logs.

Brand Advocacy & Feedback

Embody the Ranger Chocolate Co. voice and values in all interactions.

Advocate for customer needs internally and identify areas for improvement.

Collect and report customer feedback and satisfaction trends.

Required Qualifications

1+ years ofmercial barista experience.

Valid food handler's card.

Strongmunication skills with an empathetic and solutions-focused approach.

Comfortable using tools such as Shopify/Square/POS systems.

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and a variety of shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in specialty foods, premium retail, or consumer packaged goods.

Familiarity with chocolate, coffee, or similar food products.

Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
