Hiring Experienced Part Time Bartender / Server for Fun New Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar

gracia, Catalan for grace , a full service Mediterranean inspired restaurant and wine bar in the midtown Austin neighborhood of Rosedale is the newest venture from restaurateur Cameron Lockley (Gusto Italian Kitchen + Wine Bar and Flavor Co. Catering + Events).

Executive Chef Jason Tallent, who most recently helmed the kitchen at Cipollina in the Clarksville neighborhood and previously won numerous accolades while at Globe in San Francisco, features wine-centric cuisine drawing on the flavors and cultures of countries throughout the Mediterranean including Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Morocco, and more.

Much like Rosedale is in Austin, the barri gracia is a popular neighborhood in Barcelona that boasts a simple elegance while simultaneously being bohemian, hip, and fun. It is well known for international cuisine and as a cool spot for shopping.

gracia is seafood forward and the seasonal menu relies on local and regional ingredients, farmers, ranchers, and makers. The beverage program has a rotating wine list featuring boutique, family run estates from around the Mediterranean as well as craft cocktails.

ABOUT THE SERVICE STAFF

We are looking for a part time experienced craft cocktail bartender / server. Candidates should be energetic,anized and passionate.

As a member of our team you will be responsible for representing our food, beverages, and culture with guests during daily service. You will be an ambassador who guides our guests' experiences.

You will be a part of a growing and evolving beverage program. We wee innovative, passionate and opinionated individuals to join our team.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1+ years in position ing for in a full service restaurant

Current Food Handler certification registered with the City of Austin Environmental Health Services Department

Ability to work nights and weekends

Experience working with Mediterranean cuisines, wines, and spirits (Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Northern Africa, etc.) preferred, but not required

Personal responsibility mentality with a hands-on mindset

Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure

Dedicated work ethic and ability to balance focusing on the tasks of the shift while also working towards long term goals and learning

Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to adapt to different guests personalities and guide their experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Upholdpany standards, quality, and a very clean and anized work environment

Learn, retain, andmunicate insightful information about the food and beverage menus

Accurately taking orders and pacing guests experiences according to restaurant standards

Working with the FOH management to achievepany objectives in sales, service, quality, and atmosp
