Barista will provide exceptional customer service while making hand-crafted, quality beverages. Barista will take orders, make coffee, tea and other drinks to customer specifications. Barista will also operate the cash register and credit card machines. Barista will use panini machine to warm up sandwiches. Barista will serve soup/oatmeal as well as heating or warming foods. Barista will field complaints or questions while working to maintain good customer relations.
ResponsibilitiesPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
Greets customers, takes orders, mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte, tea, chai, fruit blended drinks, etc. while considering customer specifications.
Works to maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages and food items.
Stocks area of cups, lids, condiments, chips, etc.
Maintains area in a neat and sanitary manner.
Cleans coffee machines, work space, counters and other miscellaneous items.
Rings up customers using the cash register, collects money, and follows cash handling procedures as required.
Warms sandwiches using panini press.
Serves hot soup or oatmeal.
Document temperatures on refrigerator logs.
Performs service recovery as needed with customers.
