Food Service Worker

Our client, a leading provider in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Food Service Worker to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of the Food & Nutrition department supporting the healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a team-oriented attitude, and a commitment to cleanliness which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour

Shift: Varies

What's the Job?

• Assist in the setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations.
• Support the food preparation process across various areas of the property.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service to patients and staff.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; we welcome enthusiastic learners.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Willingness to undergo required health screenings and vaccinations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
