Groundskeeper

RESPONSIBILITIES

The following is a list of general responsibilities for this position. It is understood that these general responsibilities are not inclusive of all the duties that this position requires, but instead, are intended as a general scope of work.

Facilitate the Irrigation of trees, gardens and lawns
Trim and prune tree branches, bushes and hedges as needed
Maintain grounds; clean up leaves and litter, remove dead leaves, branches, plants.
Operate and perform maintenance on landscaping and irrigation equipment as required and as directed
Maintain and repair irrigation systems
Cultivate ground for and around trees and flower beds
Replace plants as required
Provide maintenance of swimming pool, spa, and related equipment.
Maintain and clean decks, patios, and outdoor furniture
Other duties as assigned by the company

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

Must be able to work independently

Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines

Basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Outlook preferred

Team player, self-starter, results-oriented

2 -4 years experience in landscape maintenance required

Irrigation system programming knowledge required

Knowledge of Swimming pool operation and chemical balance such as cleaning, vacuuming, and proper water balance
