POSITION SUMMARY:
As the first point of contact at our aerospace manufacturing facility, the Receptionist represents the company’s professionalism and commitment to excellence. This role provides essential administrative and HR support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for employees, leadership, and visitors.
The ideal candidate will be professional in both attitude and appearance, detail-oriented, efficient, and skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships. In addition to front-desk responsibilities, this position is integral to supporting the HR team with employee onboarding, communications, and engagement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and check in all visitors, vendors, clients, job candidates, and customers, including background/security verification as required.
- Maintain and route multi-line phone system.
- Oversee conference room scheduling, cleanliness, and supply readiness.
- Monitor and order office supplies; ensure front office environment reflects a professional aerospace workplace.
- Assist with new hire processes including I-9 verification, printing badges, scheduling orientations, and preparing new hire materials.
- Support HR in maintaining employee engagement and recognition programs (e.g., Cake Day, flowers, special events, spot recognition).
- Assist with employee communications (newsletters, flyers, announcements).
- Provide administrative support for company projects, compliance audits, and personnel documentation.
- Participate in planning and execution of employee events (quarterly lunches, benefits fair, company celebrations).
- Order catering and coordinate logistics for guests, meetings, and events.
- Pick up and deliver guest/client meals and supplies as requested.
- Serve as a member of the Employee Events Committee, helping organize and execute morale and engagement activities.
- Support leadership and employees with day-to-day administrative requests.
- Perform additional duties, as assigned, to support the HR and office staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of office, HR, or administrative support experience.
- Aerospace/manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required.
