Custodian

The Musco Facilities team has an opening for a Custodian at our Oskaloosa office. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

Essential Criteria:

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Previous custodial experience preferred.

• Able to follow established procedures.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning requirements.

• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple duties.

• Must be self-directed and able to work independently.

• Able to communicate well with others team members.

• Basic computer knowledge desired, Excel knowledge is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Empty trash cans in break rooms, conference rooms, and other common areas.

• Wipe down doors, handles, tables, counters, and other high-touch surfaces throughout the day.

• Vacuum or sweep high-traffic areas to keep floors looking clean and welcoming.

• Restock restrooms with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels; wipe sinks, mirrors, and counters.

• Clean and refresh coffee stations and break rooms; wipe tables, refill supplies, and tidy counters.

• Respond quickly to spills or messes so areas stay guest and Team Member ready.

• Monitor and report maintenance needs such as leaks, broken fixtures, or supply shortages.

• Assist with light event setup, deliveries, or special cleaning projects as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.
