Overview
SAVOR, the exclusive hospitality provider at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, is seeking professional and customer-focused Bartenders to join our event team. Bartenders will be responsible for serving beer and wine efficiently, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Serve beer and wine only no mixed drinks.
Set up and break down bar areas before and after events.
Ensure all alcohol service complies with California ABC regulations.
Greet guests with a friendly, professional demeanor and provide exceptional service.
Check IDs to verify age requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Accurately process transactions and handle cash/credit card payments when applicable.
Assist with restocking supplies and inventory control.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, barbacks, and event staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
Prior bartending or alcohol service experience required
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and compliance with California ABC laws.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. (cases/kegs).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules.
Must bring a beer and wine key (wine/bottle opener).

Bartending
When working in Bartending Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:
- Working independently or in a team to mix, prepare, serve, or transport alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Engaging with customers while operating a point of sale machine or cash register in a professional and courteous manner
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, equipment, or other items at the start or end of your shift
- Work on your feet, either stationary or constantly moving for the full shift
- Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities at times, as required by the immediate supervisor
- Comfortable working in a busy and at times hectic environment
- There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
- Note for that for any event staff position that requires handling food, you will need to follow GMP guidelines which include keeping your hair up, neatly trimmed fingernails, and you may be required to cover any facial hair.
It is important to Bluecrew that you go home in the same healthy state that you came to work in, so please do not accept this assignment if you cannot fulfill all of the above duties.
