The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking a Groundskeeper to assists in the maintenance of the ball field complex and landscaping surrounding the Charlotte Sports Park.

Responsibilities

Groundskeeper is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the Charlotte Sports Park ball fields and landscaping.

Work with the foreman to ensure all field conditions are up to MLB standards.

Maintain good working relationships with all fellow crew members.

Maintenance includes mowing, edging, string trimming, clay work, game prep and working games.

All other duties assigned by Charlotte Sports Park Foreman and Director of Field Operations.

Qualifications

Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time.

Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Must be able to lift items (50 lbs.) and carry cargo.

Ability to operate turf related equipment (i.e., tractors, mowers, edgers, aerifiers, paint machine)
