Job Summary
As a Housekeeping Team Leader, youll do more than cleanyoull lead by example. Youll ensure guest rooms and suites meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, while mentoring Guest Room Attendants in proper techniques and product usage. With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction, youll help create a welcoming experience that reflects our signature Family Style Service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your role blends hands-on cleaning with leadership and quality control. Key responsibilities include:
- Training & Mentorship : Guide new and existing Guest Room Attendants in proper cleaning methods, equipment handling, and product usage.
- Quality Inspections : Routinely inspect assigned rooms and suites to ensure they meet cleanliness standards and delight our guests.
- Room Cleaning : Change linens, sanitize bathrooms, dust furniture, vacuum floors, and polish surfaces with precision and care.
- Physical Tasks : Push/pull linen carts (5070 lbs), lift vacuums (1518 lbs), move furniture (up to 15 lbs), and reach up to 6 feet for supplies.
- Guest Interaction : Knock and announce before entering rooms, respond to linen requests, and remove room service trays.
- Communication : Coordinate with Executive Housekeeper and Security as needed.
- Other Duties : Perform additional tasks as assigned and maintain availability for scheduled shifts.
- Service Excellence : Consistently demonstrate our Family Style Service values in every interaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Responsible for training Guest Room Attendants in cleaning procedures and proper use of equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, youll need:
- Ability to perform all essential duties with consistency and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with company policies, fire safety, and sanitation standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Education & Experience
- Six months to one year of related experience in a casino or hospitality setting preferred.
- Equivalent training or combination of education and experience will be considered.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must possess and maintain applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or license(s), if required.
Language Skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to read and write basic documents such as memos, lists, and correspondence.
