School Cafeteria Worker

Part Time Hours : 8AM to 1:30 Monday-Friday

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Service Worker to join our team at a local school. This position involves preparing and serving meals to students in a school cafeteria setting, ensuring a positive and efficient dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food in accordance with school menu standards and safety guidelines
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
• Assist with food inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
• Follow all school policies and health regulations

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Experience in food service or school cafeteria setting preferred, but not required
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, typically during school hours
• Most shifts range from 5-6 hours per day
• Start times are between 7:00am and 8:00am, depending on the grade level (elementary, middle, or high school)
• Hours may vary based on school needs, with a typical weekly schedule of 25-30 hours
