Janitorial Custodian

Are you an organized, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We have partnered with a local university and are searching for a Janitorial Custodian to keep the Student Union looking its best for students, staff, and campus visitors!

Schedule: 1:00pm-9:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm, Sunday through Thursday

Pay: $13/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping public areas, meeting rooms, and restrooms clean and stocked
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Taking out trash
• Replenishing supplies like tissues, paper towels, and soap
• Assisting in other areas as needed

Qualifications:

• Six months of experience in general cleaning of office buildings.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and supply use.
• Ability to safely handle cleansers and cleaning agents for floors, furniture, and surfaces.
• Skilled in performing repetitive manual work, multitasking, and prioritizing assignments.
• Able to work independently, following oral and written instructions.
• Physically capable of walking, bending, twisting, stooping, and standing for 8-10 hours per shift.
