ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests in accordance with department guest service standards.
- Accurately handles financial transactions including, but not limited to, exchanging currency, TITO ticket redemption, chip redemption, cashing checks, conducting credit card cash advances, sports wagering, etc.
- Handles Reward's Club services including, but not limited to, enrolling new guests into the program, updating guest's accounts, assisting with PIN changes, assisting guests with questions regarding promotions and their Reward's Club account, and documenting guest concerns brought to their attention.
- Handles large sums of cash, coin and chips, ensuring accountability and adequate money inventories and reporting on their status as appropriate.
- Prepares and verifies Cashier banks for all casino cashiers.
- Waives fees for appropriate guests and conducts payout verification for Cage Cashiers.
- Accurately prepares currency to be added to the ticket redemption kiosks and cash recycler ensuring accountability on the main bank paperwork.
- Accurate verifies currency and/or slot tickets received from the ticket redemption kiosks and cash recycler ensuring accountability on the main bank paperwork.
- Accurately conducts table fill and table credit transactions for Table Games.
- Accurately conducts Slot jackpots and hand-pays.
- Verifies Table Games tokes and manually processed tokes for other departments as needed.
- Prepares and verifies the casino bank deposit.
- Complies with all aspects of the company Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Title 31 and Suspicious Activity Reporting.
- Reconciles the vault (main bank) at the end of their shift.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with other team members within and outside of the Guest Services/Cage department, guests and vendors.
- Complies with all department and company policies and procedures, regulations, internal controls and government rules and regulations.
- Performs any reasonable, temporary assigned job duties outside of the position's job description, where, in management's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Knowledge of and proficient in basic mathematics.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must be able to obtain, and maintain, a Maine State Dual Gaming/Sportsbook License.
- Must be able to obtain an employer identification number (EIN) and obtain and maintain federal Occupational Tax and Registration Return for Wager (Form 11-C).
- One (1) year of Cage Cashier experience or equivalent casino position is preferred.
- Two (2) years of cash handling experience required.
- Two (2) years of guest service experience required.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires that the team member be able to stand for long periods of time, up to four (4) hours without a break, to ensure adequate guest service standards are maintained. The team member must be able to withstand working in a casino environment, which may include exposure to loud noises and bright and flashing lights. May need to continuously bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. Occasionally push carts weighing up to two hundred (200) pounds. Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment and effectively deal with guests, management and other team members.
The work environment involves everyday risk of discomforts associated with excessing standing, computer monitor use and cash handling. Use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations is needed. The work area is adequately lit, heated and ventilated. The noise level in the work area is usually moderate to loud.

JOB SUMMARY
Is responsible for courteously and accurately providing guests and team members financial and non-cash services in Cage, Sportsbook and Reward's Club operations while ensuring protection of company assets and providing a positive Cage experience for all guests.
