QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:
Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards: Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you and Goodbye.
Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of assigned public areas and guest rooms.
Cleans the windows, ice machines, vending machines, stairwells, elevators, and elevator tracks daily.
Sweeps and mops floors and vacuums the corridor carpets by the assigned time.
Cleans the linen lockers, keeps all linen in perfect order, and stocks the assigned lockers with linens and supplies.
Responsible for cleaning the assigned rooms including, but not limited, to moving and cleaning behind furniture, washing windows, tracks, and screens, cleaning all vents, lighting, chandeliers and lamps, vacuuming drapes and upholstered furniture, spot cleaning carpets, and upholstered furniture.
Picks up trash and linens from Room Attendant s carts. Transports the soiled linens to the laundry area.
Cleans and dust hallway lamps, baseboards, elevators, and door frames.
At the end of the shift, secures all equipment, and returns the passkey and radio to the housekeeping office.
Reports safety hazards and maintenance-related problems to the housekeeping office promptly.
Helps Room Attendants in moving furniture in the guest rooms. Must wear personal protective equipment such as a safety belt when lifting or moving heavy equipment.
Must be able to communicate in English (read, write, speak).
Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for most of the day.
Ability to work in moderately noisy work environments for long periods and communicate effectively in this environment.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion.
Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 100 pounds.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Six months to one year of related housekeeping experience is required.
Bi-lingual a plus
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
INDIAN PREFERENCE:
Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
