Job DetailsCDG Group is looking for servers for All Locations in NYC
Schedule Full/Part Time and available for Brunch both Saturday/Sunday
Primary Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage menus, and able to guide guests to best order
- Follows proper steps of service with grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service
- Ensure that every guest receives exceptional overall experience.
- Able to create relevant and creative beverages based on requirements of guests or managers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the seating area.
- Support team with beverage service to all dining room areas
- Responsible for cleaning, polishing, and maintaining stock of bar glassware and service-ware
- Communicates respectfully and effectively with staff members, management, and the kitchen during service.
- Listen to, and promptly act to resolve, guest issues and requests
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a Server in, hotel, or restaurant
- Experience using Toast or similar POS system
- Craft cocktail + spirits knowledge a must
- Basic wine knowledge a plus
- Excellent guest service skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, team player
- Willingness to learn and grow
