Porter

Our client, a leading player in the hospitality industry, is seeking a Porter to join their team. As a Porter, you will be part of the operations supporting a welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Porter

Location: Marquette, MI

Pay Range: $16.00 per Hour

Shift: Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness of all public hotel spaces including lobbies, restrooms, elevators, hallways, and service areas.
• Assist guests with amenities and directions, creating a welcoming and helpful environment.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, polishing fixtures, and monitoring building safety.
• Clean and restock public restrooms, vacuum and shampoo carpets, polish furniture and metalwork.
• Support other departments as needed, including Front Desk, Kitchen, and Housekeeping.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous hospitality or cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 175 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
