WORK HOURS Monday Friday, 8am - 5pm

Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements

Mandatory overtime may include some Saturdays and Sundays .

BSN Sports, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, mechanically inclined candidate with a positive attitude to work in our Sacramento, CA location as a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and resolution.
  • Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
  • You must wear the proper personal protective equipment, (if required), while working in the shipping area.
  • Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders in spoken English, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Work hours of service for 1 st shift (5 AM 1:30 PM) . Some overtime will be required on occasions.
  • Experience with Lockout-Tagout procedures.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
