Job Details Indienne is looking for experienced and hospitality focused front of the house team members.

Hosts:
* Plotting reservations and running point at the front desk
* Assigning front server and server assistant sections
* Maintaining proper flow and rotation of guest seating
* Produce a daily reservation sheet for the team with all required information
  • Welcoming and greeting guests; ensuring a seamless flow through the restaurant and to arranged dining tables
  • Coordinating and communicating with the Chef and managers openly regarding service
  • Checking-in, storing, securing, and retrieving outerwear and assorted personal belongings for guests
  • Printing all menus as well as updating and printing shift summary notes
  • Speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and responding well to questions
  • Upholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
  • Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values
  • Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn
  • Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties
  • Exhibiting a familiarity with daily menus
  • Participating in service/culinary education sessions
  • Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
Bartenders:
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and spirit free beverages
* Provide world class service, including greeting guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
* Manage bar inventory, stock and assist with ordering supplies.
* Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
* Process payments accurately using the Toast POS
* Assist with prep as needed
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and enforce responsible alcohol service practices.

Front Servers:
  • Confidently describing and telling the stories of the dishes on the tasting menu, including contextual and cultural information for guests less familiar with Indian cuisine
  • Using your strong knowledge of wine to assist guests with the by-the-glass list as well as having the ability to confidently pour wine pairings
  • Possessing knowledge of spirits so as to effectively describe the cocktails on our menu
  • Working knowledge of Indian geography and surrounding areas
  • A genuine love for warm and precise hospitality
  • An eagerness to learn and work dynamically with your team. With a tip pool structure, everyone is expected to step in wherever needed and put the guest experience first
  • The ability to direct and work in tandem with your Back Server, and embody the team mentality; no positions in our FOH take precedence over any other
  • The ability to remain organized, proactive always before being reactive, anticipating anything the guest and the restaurant need.
  • Understanding the nuance and subtleties of world class service and hospitality
  • Preference will be given to candidates with high level, Michelin experience
Server Assistant:
  • Assist Front Servers and other front-of-house staff in providing seamless service, including resetting tables, refilling water.
  • Ensure tables are clean, and well-prepared for each course, paying close attention to the guest's pace and needs.
  • Communicate effectively with front servers, culinary team and management to ensure a smooth flow of service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly, ensuring a warm and attentive experience.
  • Monitor table settings to ensure alignment with fine dining standards, replacing or correcting items as necessary
Kitchen Servers/Runners:
  • Deliver courses from the kitchen to the appropriate table in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the accuracy and presentation of each course and garnish
  • Clearly communicate with expeditor
  • Perform all side work correctly and completely
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time [over 5 hours]
  • Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds steadily
  • Be comfortable with repetitive movements like bending, sitting, and walking extended distances

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($12.62) plus tips
