Housekeeper/ Janitor

Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, a Cassia Senior Community, is hiring a Housekeeper/Janitor to join our team! This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. At Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, you'll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that takes pride in making a difference every day for residents and families alike.

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our campus clean and comfortable for our residents along with some basic janitorial work. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoys making a difference in the lives of seniors.

Position Type: Part-Time working varying days including weekends and holidays

Shifts Available:

Days 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Evenings 3:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Wage Range: $16.00 - $21.50 / hour depending on experience

Housekeeper/Janitor Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, day room and dining room, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing and trash removal.
• Cleaning carpets
• Take out trash and recycling.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Housekeeper/Janitor Qualifications:

• Ability to work with a diverse population of older adults.
• Have the ability work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.
