About this Position

Job Description Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Worker repairs, constructs, and maintains Primerica's buildings and facilities on campus and in other areas around the country. The position works with employees to make sure their workspaces are safe and in working condition.

100% onsite in our Duluth GA Office

Salary: Up to $45K

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing fixtures, appliances, bathroom accessories, and door and cabinet hardware on a routine basis
  • Maintains campus to ensure appearance and functionality are kept to company standard
  • Routinely assesses campus to bring issues to the attention of the responsible parties to be addressed
  • Repairs plumbing, appliances, furniture, wall damage, doors, and other building components
  • Maintains and performs typical repairs on company vehicles
  • Collaborates with IT, facilities, and other departments to facilitate personnel moves and transfers. Transports personal belongings, keyboard trays, chairs, foot stools, monitor arms, desk platforms, and any ergonomic component as needed between offices and cubicles. Assists with moving computer and monitors for end users
  • Builds new cubicles and office desks including panels, work surfaces, electrical hookups, cabinets, and other furniture accessories. Reconfigures and installs both office furniture and cubicles
  • Constructs new spaces on campus including wall track and stud placement, hanging drywall, mudding joints, sanding, painting, installing door frames, door panels, door hardware, and windows
  • Setups for department/company meetings and events
  • Minor carpentry (Replace carpet tiles and baseboards
