Racquet Sports Center Housekeeper - Full Time
Join AAC as a Housekeeper in our Racquet Sports Center and become an integral part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our members and their guests. We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence. Schedule: Hours are 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm. These shifts could vary based on the needs of the Club and include nights, weekends and holidays
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform duties in alignment with the mission and values of the Atlanta Athletic Club
- Dust furniture, light fixtures, artwork, and other surfaces as needed
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, including showers; replenish supplies as necessary
- Vacuum and mop all floors throughout, including the Summer House
- Sweep patio areas and dust patio furniture regularly
- Empty all trash receptacles throughout the facility on a continuous basis
- Report any maintenance issues such as damage, burnt-out bulbs, or plumbing problems to the Maintenance Supervisor or Pro Shop Supervisor
- Polish glass surfaces, tables, counters, and door handles
- Launder towels and return them to the appropriate locker room
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager on Duty
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing
- Knowledge of proper maintenance and cleaning techniques for a variety of building surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions for the safe and appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience especially in hospitality, clubs, or similar environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays when necessary
- Basic English Communication Skills for reading labels, instructions, and safety information
