Building Maintenance Technician

South Central Transit is now accepting applications for a Full-Time BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN at the Centralia facility.

Are you skilled with your hands and enjoy keeping facilities in top shape? South Central Transit is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to join our team!

What You'll Do:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment and building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).

• Perform routine facility upkeep and outdoor maintenance, including landscaping and mowing.

• Handle general cleaning tasks and supply orders.

• Conduct monthly building inspections and maintain door locks and codes.

• Assist with transporting tools and equipment between facilities.

What We're Looking For:

• Knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and lawn care.

• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically active tasks (bending, climbing, kneeling).

• Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma or GED required; prior maintenance experience preferred.
