Job Title: Industrial Cleaner

Location: Littleton, NH & Groveton, NH

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Overview: The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for ensuring both facility locations remain compliant with Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA) requirements. This role involves performing specialized hazardous dust cleanup, maintaining fireproof and spark-resistant zones, and adhering to strict safety protocols to prevent catastrophic safety incidents, regulatory violations, and operational downtime.

This is a safety-critical position that requires exceptional attention to detail, firm adherence to compliance procedures, and the ability to work independently in high-risk environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate lifts and other equipment to safely access elevated work areas, scrubbing and cleaning walls and other surfaces as required. Conduct routine industrial housekeeping and dust inspections for the building and grounds. Conducts filter cleaning and changes for the filtration systems. Maintains grounds year-round, including mowing, trimming, shoveling, ice management, waste removal, scrap removal, and skids/wood removal to the transfer station. Ensure all materials, tools, and procedures meet fireproof and spark-resistant safety standards. Wear and adequately maintain all required PPE for high-risk environments, including respirators, protective suits, and other safety gear. Follow all OSHA, NFPA, and DHA compliance requirements to mitigate fire, explosion, and health risks. Document cleanup activities, inspection results, and compliance status for internal records and regulatory audits. Identify potential safety hazards and report deficiencies immediately to the supervisor. Safely travel between both facility locations as required. Participate in mandatory safety training and maintain current certifications required for hazardous environmental work. Perform any other related duties as requested by your manager. Willing to cross-train as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional safety or industrial certifications preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required (travel between locations is necessary). Demonstrated ability to work safely in environments with hazardous dust and other high-risk conditions. Ability to work independently with extreme diligence and attention to detail; no room for error or complacency. Comfortable working at heights using lifts, scaffolding, or similar equipment. Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform repetitive manual cleaning tasks for extended periods. Professional demeanor and positive attitude Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with hazardous material handling, industrial cleaning, or environmental compliance work. Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and DHA compliance standards. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility with stringent safety requirements.

Working Conditions

Majority of work performed in high-risk, hazardous environments with required PPE. Frequent use of lifts and elevated work platforms. Regular exposure to industrial dust, noise, and cleaning chemicals. Requires travel between two facility locations; occasional same-day travel is required.
