- Position Type: Support Staff/ Head Cook - Date Posted: 8/25/2025 - Location: Richmond Elementary - Closing Date: 09/01/2025 Job Duties - Oversees food service employees in daily activities of the food service program. - Prepares food production reports, participation reports, and low balance reports daily. - Ensures meals being prepared are following planned menu and federal guidelines. - Coordinates supplies for daily menu. - Orders food, supplies, and maintains kitchen inventory. - Responsible for food order deliveries and ensuring items are stored according to safety guidelines. - Coordinates, prepares, and invoices snacks and meals for meetings and special events. - Coordinates and assists in the cleaning of food service areas, equipment, and utensils. - Review and process time clock approvals, AESOP absences, and handles staffing of substitutes. - Other tasks as needed. Desired Qualifications: - Level Three SNA Certificate; or ability to acquire - Minnesota Department of Health Food Manager Certification; or ability to acquire - Strong Supervisory skills - Time management and organizational skills - Ability to lift 40 pounds - Previous food service experience desired The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.74 to $23.34 depending on experience.
