Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and hospitality-driven Barista to represent Cafe Cotier at events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ever-changing environments, can work independently, values precision in their craft, and understands that coffee service is not just about serving drinks, but about making guests feel better than they did before their interaction with you.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve espresso-based beverages with speed, consistency, and attention to detail.
Engage guests with warm, professional, and high-touch service that exceeds expectations.
Ensure setup and breakdown of mobile espresso cart, equipment, and supplies before and after events.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Adapt to client-specific dress codes and event guidelines while upholding Cafe Cotiers professional brand image.
Represent Cafe Cotier with punctuality, reliability, and hospitality at the core of every interaction.
Minimum 1 year of high-end hospitality experience in a cafe, restaurant, or catering/events organization.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 80 lbs (equipment and supplies).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage with diverse clientele in person, by phone, and through email/text.
Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality.
Punctual, dependable, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
Flexible availability, primarily weekday mornings and weekends (both morning and evening).
$20/hour starting pay.
