Job Details SECOND is a long-standing premium event space, lending iteself to host events for some of the worlds best innovators, creators, and brands. It's also known as a great social event destination. Featuring retractable glass walls and terrace, black iron beams, exposed brick walls, antiqued glass, several large gathering rooms, and 360* bar, events can range from intimate to extravagant.

We are looking for Housemen to provide the necessary support during setup, tear down, and cleaning within the space. They are the backbone of the events team.

Responsibilities
    • Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine.
    • Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms.
    • Washes walls and ceiling moves furniture.
    • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor.
    • Dusts and polishes metalwork.
    • Collects soiled linens for laundering.
    • Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect trash.
    • Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
    • Deliver items to events spaces on request.
    • Sort linen, stock room attendant closets.
    • Refill the par stock of amenities and supplies.
    • Help with the heavy lifting when super cleaning / spring cleaning of events spaces.
    • Clean all events areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
    • Set up in-house furniture for events according to the designated floor plan. This includes but is not limited to farm tables, high boys, low boys, chairs and plants.
    • Assist in placing event furniture and items from clients and production teams.
    • Report missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the supervisors.
    • Respond always in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
    • Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.
    • Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the LTH Dress Code Policy.
    • Must be able to work independently and as a team player. Responsible for treating all co-workers in a respectful manner;
    • Responsible for communicating openly and thoroughly with supervisor and for bringing all guest concerns to supervisors attention immediately;
    • Responsible for clearly communicating schedule requests or obtaining proper approval for all shift changes and for being appropriately dressed and ready to work at the scheduled time;
Requirements and Skills
  • The ability to lift about 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to use heavy equipment, as needed, including a riding cleaning system for the floors.
  • The ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to clearly and professionally communicate with team members, management, and guests.
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.50 - $20.00)
