Job Summary
The Crystal Spa Guest Service Attendant has overall responsibility for monitoring and cleaning the spa, to include but not limited to reception area, waiting areas, treatment rooms, storage rooms, and locker rooms. Incumbent must utilize available resources to provide excellent guest satisfaction.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Escort spa guests to changing areas in a courteous and timely manner.
- Communicate with guests regarding their services, the set up and workings of the locker rooms, bathroom and showers, and where to meet therapists for services.
- Understand the basics of the spa menu and products in order to communicate knowledgably with guests.
- Restock and maintain all linens in changing areas and appropriate spa/ guest areas. Take used linens to housekeeping, laundry pick-up, or spa laundry area.
- Replenish supplies in assigned areas as needed.
- Wash and clean spa laundry regularly.
- Thoroughly clean all assigned areas within prescribed standard guidelines to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal.
- Report and flag any damaged or missing items or maintenance repair needs to your Manager or Supervisor.
- Handle questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Assist Manager/ Supervisor with the inventory of all items places in the spa, such as amenities, towels, and linens.
- Help ensure the facility is safe and secure at all times and accessed only by actual guests.
- Sell alcoholic beverages to guests of legal drinking age. Must have basic knowledge of microbrew and wine selection in spa inventory.
- Communicate with management all concerns or issues involving staff or guests.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical & Other Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use arms and legs and move whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- The employee is occasionally required to smell.
- The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
- Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Non-smoking candidates preferred.
