Joby Aviation is seeking a highly organized, passionate Equipment Maintenance Technician II/III to join our powertrain and electronics team to perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on our factory equipment for VTOL electric aircraft. Responsibilities- Adhere to Jobys safety procedures and protocol.
- Own preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on manual, semi-automated, and fully automated manufacturing equipment.
- Contribute to setting up preventive maintenances in our SaaS maintenance platform.
- Order and stock service spares.
- Carry-out preventative maintenance to properly service and maintain all current and future production equipment. This may include utilizing hand tools and power tools, machine-shop fabrication equipment, electrical wiring and troubleshooting, working with high voltage and hydraulic/pneumatic pressure systems, mechanical component assembly, general equipment troubleshooting,
- Equipment to be maintained and repaired includes: robotic workstations, laser and resistance welders, process ovens, air compressors, vacuum pumps, electrical testing and inspection equipment, AOI, and AXI equipment.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Work Shift is Mon-Fri7:30am-6pm
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment andmaintainhigh standardsof work.

- Able tooperatemultiple equipment per SOP and basic hand tools (electric and manual).

- Associates degree or higher
- Experience working in manufacturing, repair, or service
- Experience working on high-voltage equipment
- Strong desire to continually learn and grow new skills
- Robot controller and PLC programming experience
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $30 - $43 per hour.
