This role requires excellent communication and a passion for providing outstanding guest services. Escort incoming guests to rooms. Assist guests with luggage. Inspect guest room to ensure that it is in order, and that supplies are adequate. Explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system, etc. Offer information pertaining to available hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions. Deliver messages and run errands. Transport guests in hotel van within property requirements. Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior of van. Maintain all mileage records on a daily basis. Report all trips to front desk; length of drive as well as length of time spent. Keep record of calls for service. Deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks. Set up sample rooms. Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. Requirements Minimum lifting of 50 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Hearing, writing, typing. Minimum pulling of 50 pounds. Other duties may be assigned.
