Ensure the prompt return of clean rooms to reception for resale to incoming guests. Inspect guest rooms and public areas for compliance with established cleanliness, maintenance and set-up standards. * This is an onsite living room attendant position.
The Room Attendant is also responsible for cleaning a full board on days the Housekeeping Manager is on duty.
The Onsite Room Attendant will be responsible for cleaning a half board.
Complete all necessary paperwork on a timely basis
Cleans hotel areas including, but not limited to, guestrooms, lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facility, house laundry, stairways, exterior, etc. according to company standards and within required timeframes
Replenishes supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, linen, and terry, etc. in various areas such as guest rooms and restrooms
Transports trash and waste to disposal area
Stocks, organizes, and maintains housekeeping carts and equipment
Always greets guests in a warm, friendly manner
Strictly adheres to safety & security policies to ensure personal safety, safety of the guest and their belongings, and company property
Use all materials, chemicals, and tools safely to avoid injury, waste, unnecessary damage, or accidents
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, or General Education Degree (GED) (preferred)
Experience:
No experience required.
Knowledge:
Basic understanding in the use of cleaning tools and chemicals
Basic knowledge of on the job safety.
Skills:
Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
Basic computer operation including but not limited to accessing data from the internet
Operate light equipment (vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner)
Abilities:
Read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
Respond calmly in situations of conflict and stress.
Adapt to changes in daily work.
Problem-solve in a timely manner.
