Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter / Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of residential communities. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including walkways, stairwells, parking lots, and laundry rooms
- Pick up trash and debris throughout the property on a daily basis
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues
- Clean and prepare vacant units as needed (trash-outs)
- Support maintenance team with basic duties and work orders
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials
- Monitor property grounds for safety hazards and report concerns promptly
Qualifications:
- Previous porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
