This is a part-time, position QUALIFICATIONS: High School Education or GED required, Prior food service or related field experience preferred Enthusiastic supporter of the Catholic faith and schools Flexible, adaptive, and cooperative All who serve at Xavier Catholic Schools will witness by their behavior, actions, and words a life consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church ESSENTIAL DUTIES/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow all health department guidelines and regulations Fill salad dressing containers Stock salad bar with fresh veggies, cottage cheese cups, ham cups, cheddar cheese cups, canned olives, garbanzo beans, croutons, and hard-boiled eggs Coordinate taco bar - make taco meat; set ouc heese, veggies, and tortilla shells Tear down and clean salad bar Clean tables after lunch Sweep and mop at end of day; and prepare grocery order Assist co-workers in other area, as needed Take required classes and training Take out garbage and recyclables Perform heavy duty cleaning Help unload weekly truck Assume lunch dish room duties, such as wash, dry, and put away dishes/trays on a rotating basis Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, talk, reach, sit, hear, handle and perform repetitive motions of the hands/wrists. Lifts and moves items up to 20 pounds.
