Bagel Baker

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bagel Baker to join our night production team. This role is responsible for preparing, boiling, baking, and finishing bagels daily while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate ovens, and other bakery equipment
• Boil and bake bagels to proper texture and consistency
• Prepare toppings and specialty bagel flavors
• Maintain production schedules and meet daily volume targets
• Ensure all products meet quality and appearance standards
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked

Schedule

• Night shift required (6:00PM-1:00AM)
• Weekend availability 
• Full-time and part-time positions available

Qualifications

• Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred 
• Ability to work night shifts consistently
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift larger trays of Bagels, boiling and baking them
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

We are willing for someone to grow into this roll, but at least 1 years experience a kitchen. Deke's bagels is looking to expand from its current 2 locations and therefore will have opportunity to grow into potential baking management rolls and compensation.
