ABOUT LITTLE SAINT
Located in the heart of historic downtown Healdsburg, Little Saint is a vibrant meeting place where
guests are invited to connect over food, music, art and conversation. Our mission is to create an
environment that is good for the soul, the earth and the community. Inside our 10,000-square-foot
space, Little Saint offers up a full-service farm-forward restaurant, cafe and wine shop with a focus
on plant-based cuisine. The building is home to exciting live music and thought-provoking
conversations, as well as a series of film screenings and performances to benefit local artists and
our farming community.
WHATS ON YOUR PLATE
The Wine Specialist is a guest-facing ambassador for Little Saints wine program. Reporting to the
Wine Program Manager, this role focuses on creating a welcoming, educational, and memorable
experience in our Wine Lounge and Shop. This position blends retail hospitality with by-the-glass
pours, some restaurant service support, and occasional bottle service, while guiding guests through
our carefully curated wine selections.
WHAT YOULL DO
Proactively welcome and engage guests in the Wine Lounge and Shop with warmth,
professionalism, and approachability
Offer thoughtful wine recommendations based on guest preferences, occasion, and budget
Conduct by-the-glass service and assist with pairing small plates or snacks
Guide guests in selecting bottles for purchase while educating about our wine offerings
Maintain an organized, visually appealing, and fully stocked Wine Lounge and Shop
Assist with inventory tracking, stock rotation, and ordering as needed
Support occasional tastings, events, or group experiences
Communicate clearly and enthusiastically about Little Saint wines, local producers, and our
philosophy and ethos.
Collaborate with the Wine Program Manager and broader Little Saint team to uphold a
culture of respect, kindness, and genuine hospitality
Embody the companys culture and translate this culture into the overall service team
Perform other duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE
2+ years of experience in wine, retail, or beverage service; hospitality experience a plus
Knowledge of wine regions, styles, and production; wine certifications are a bonus
Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused personality
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
Flexible availability, including the option to work additional shifts for events or busy days
Computer proficiency for POS, inventory, and sales tracking
Commitment to sincere hospitality, enthusiasm, and teamwork
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to regularly and continuously lift up to 50 pounds
Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive motions
Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00) plus tips
